At the elementary level, basketball should be about learning the game the right way.
Hardwood is built for young players who want to develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a real love for the game — all in a positive, structured environment.
Our focus at this age:
Proper skill foundations (shooting, ball handling, footwork)
Basketball IQ and decision-making
Confidence, effort, and coachability
Age-appropriate competition and development
We don’t rush kids or specialize them too early.
We teach them how to learn, so they grow year after year.
Parent takeaway:
Your child gets coached, encouraged, and developed — not pressured or overlooked.
Elementary tryouts are now open for boys and girls.
We’d love to see your player on the floor.
